NT Labs Marine Phosphate Remover

Excessive phosphate often leads to slow coral growth and unwanted algae, usually caused by fish waste or phosphate found in tap water during water changes. NT Labs Phosphate Remover uses a highly absorbent alumina-based media to effectively eliminate both phosphate and silicate. Its spherical granules prevent clumping, ensuring consistent water flow and reliable performance throughout its use, helping to maintain a healthier marine environment.

To use, place the necessary amount of NT Labs Phosphate Remover in a Marine Filter Media Bag and rinse gently under tap water until the runoff is clear. The media may warm up during the first rinse. Regularly test phosphate levels using a Marine Lab Phosphate test; rising phosphate indicates the remover is spent and needs replacing. Safely dispose of the used media and bag. Please note, this product is not suitable for fluidised filters. A Marine Filter Media Bag is included for convenience.
